Our farms in Lake Toba, Sumatra, Indonesia and Northwest Honduras are the only aquaculture operations in the world meeting the ISRTA standards. Industry stakeholders, led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), created these high standards of best practices.
We invest in such green energy innovations as Fishnol: Regal Springs-made biodiesel, which runs all our trucks, machinery, and provides electricity for our farm. 100% of our fish processing waste is recycled into fishmeal and fish oil and our Regal’s OceanChill™ brand products reduces the carbon footprint by shipping fresh fillets by boat rather than air.
All our operations are in protected areas where we are committed to preserving the natural habitat. When we establish an aquafarm, we involve the community and become a part of it.
