Project: Reforestation of El Ocote Natural Reserve
Climate Change
Impact: 20 Hectares reforested with 12,500 native tree species
Project Description: The project will involved the production of 12,500 native plant species in a dedicated nursery, with the aim of reforesting 20 hectares of land. By regenerating and restoring the Medium Forest, we contributed to local biodiversity and environmental health. In addition to the reforestation efforts, the project will work to raise awareness among local communities about the importance of maintaining forests and the role they play in combating climate change.
This initiative not only seeks to improve the environment but also to empower local communities to take an active role in protecting their natural resources for future generations. Through this reforestation project, Regal Springs aims to make a meaningful, long-term impact on ecological sustainability and climate resilience.
