Regal Springs Indonesia Participates in Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2024
Surabaya (03/07) Regal Springs Indonesia (PT Aqua Farm Nusantara) recognized that the Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2024 (APA24) was a significant opportunity for Indonesia to increase investment in the fisheries sector. To support the government’s efforts in realizing economic growth in Indonesia, particularly from aquaculture products, Regal Springs Indonesia is participated the in the APA24 event in Surabaya from July 3-5, 2024.
Regal Springs Indonesia, as one of the world’s largest tilapia producers, took this opportunity to showcase its commitment to implementing sustainable and innovative aquaculture practices. At the event, Regal Springs Indonesia exhibited its flagship products, including its broad portfolio of by-products, and innovations in environmentally friendly tilapia farming at one of the APA24 booths.
Rudolf Hoeffelman, President Director of Regal Springs Indonesia, stated, “We are very excited to participate in the Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2024. This is a tremendous opportunity to share our experiences and knowledge in sustainable aquaculture and to learn from other industry leaders,” Hoeffelman said.

The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin, expressed his appreciation for the organization of APA 2024 in Indonesia during the event’s inauguration. APA 2024 served as a meeting place for investors, researchers, academics, and business practitioners in the field of aquaculture, both from within and outside the country.
“Through this meeting, it can be a tangible manifestation of synergy and collaboration between the government and business practitioners and academics to produce breakthroughs to increase productivity and maintain the sustainability of the aquaculture sector in Indonesia. At the same time, it strengthens Indonesia’s position as a leading producer of fisheries in the world,” he said.
The company’s efforts to support the realization of sustainable aquaculture include among many others: a firm commitment to the Blue Food Movement, an ambitious by-products strategy to foster a circular economy by way of using the whole parts of the fish, and the continuous quest to maximize positive impact on society through its social and community programs, such as the “Promoting Fish Consumption Movement” (Gemarikan). Regal Springs Indonesia also engaged in active and innovative collaborations with universities and educational institutions, and other local social, eco-tourism and environmental initiatives.
